Knit Crew Sweater - Silk/Cotton - Black

There is a particular kind of allure — the kind silk gives when it's spun into something timeless. Swan yarn, a 55% silk / 45% cotton blend from Italy, carries that quality: a subtle sheen, a softness that settles rather than clings, and a weight that reads elegance.

Ray of Hours worked with the same Italian spinners and Shanghai's fully fashioned knitwear tradition to shape two pieces from this yarn: a long sleeve crew sweater and a short sleeve knit tee. Fully fashioned means each panel is knit to shape rather than cut from fabric: a slower, more considered method that eliminates waste and produces a cleaner finish at every seam.

Two pieces, one fabric, different hours. The sweater for the layered beneath a jacket or worn alone as the evening turns. The tee for office to dinner party — enough structure to hold its shape, light enough to forget you're wearing it. Both in black, both in 55% silk / 45% cotton, both arriving this month.

This is quiet luxury, made to be felt before it's explained.
