We brought together two origins - one from a cocoon, the other from a seed - and spun them into a single yarn.
60% SILK lends its thermoregulating protein. Each filament is extruded as a single, continuous strand of fibroin: eighteen amino acids arranged in the same dialect as human skin and hair. That shared biology is why the fabric cools on contact in August humidity and traps a pocket of warmed air when the office AC drops. The fibre can swallow 30% of its weight in vapour without ever feeling wet, so sweat disappears before your mirror notices.
40% COTTON offers the strength of cellulose. No pesticides, no defoliants, just rainwater and time. The different length of staples lets us twist an ultra-fine 80-single yarn: lighter, stronger, and capable of absorbing colour so deeply that a year of washes still looks like opening night. And because the fibre is ring-spun and combed, the surface stays pill-free.
